Torrin 2016 Tsundere Bordeaux Blend Paso Robles
Torrin 2016 Tsundere Bordeaux Blend Paso Robles
Torrin 2016 Tsundere Bordeaux Blend Paso Robles

Inky ruby. Spice-accented cherry, cassis and licorice scents, along with a smoky mineral topnote that gains strength as the wine stretches out. Fleshy blackberry and bitter cherry flavors show excellent depth and a core of zesty acidity. Becomes sweeter on the back half and picks up a sexy floral nuance and a hint of cola. Blends depth and vivacity with a sure hand and finishes smoky, sweet and very long, featuring harmonious tannins and lingering floral and allspice qualities.

Jeb Dunnuck - 95-97 Points

"The 2016 Tsundere is the only wine to includes any Bordeaux varieties and is 39% Syrah, 27% Tannat, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the balance Grenache, all from the Will Creek District of Paso Robles. Smoky black cherries, blackberries, leafy herbs, cedar, and some meatiness and tobacco notes all emerge from this ripe, full-bodied, sexy yet incredibly elegant blend. It should be reasonably approachable on release, yet I suspect it will benefit from short-term cellaring."
