Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - 96+ Points
"The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc. It has a very deep garnet-purple color and features beautifully youthful, vibrant black cherries, black berries and red and black currants scents with wafts of kirsch, lilacs, roses and red soil plus a touch of crushed rocks. Medium to full-bodied, stunningly elegant and well-poised in the mouth, it has a very sexy frame of plush tannins and a fantastic perfume pervading the very long mineral-laced finish. A monumental success this year, this wine proves that mistakes are not just a necessary part of continual improvement, occasionally they can be absolutely inspired. Bravo!"

Jeb Dunnuck - 96 Points
"The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon checks in as 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% each of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, all aged 20 months in 80% new French oak. Packaged in a buffed bottle (itís good looking packaging), it sports a saturated purple color as well as a brilliant bouquet of blackcurrants, tobacco leaf, lead pencil, damp earth, and cedar. Itís deep, rich, and full-bodied on the palate, with thrilling purity of fruit, ripe tannins, and a great finish. This is seriously good Napa Cabernet Sauvignon that will keep for 15-20 years or more. 275 cases."

James Suckling - 95 Points
"A very intense red with blackberry and blueberry character. Some dark-chocolate and lavender undertones. Full-bodied, tight and concentrated. Yet, the firm tannins give this form and seriousness. A blend of 90 per cent cabernet sauvignon and equal doses of petit verdot and cabernet franc. Drink in 2020."
